Delete your data
Delete your data
This page explains how to delete your data from the Liquid Degree app, made by Matthew John Harmer, trading as Liquid Degree (registered business name LIQUID DEGREE), ABN 40 307 524 351.
The app doesn’t have user accounts yet, so there’s no account to delete. Most of your data lives on your device, and you can remove it yourself.
1. Delete data on your device
- Android: Settings, then Apps, then Liquid Degree, then Storage, then Clear storage.
- iOS: Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone.
This removes your photos and anything else the app stores on your device.
2. Uninstall the app
Uninstalling removes the app and its data from your device. It doesn’t cancel a subscription, so cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings first.
3. Ask us to delete data held by our providers
Some data is held by services we use:
- RevenueCat holds purchase information, such as what you bought and when.
- Google (Gemini, through Firebase Cloud Functions) will receive your AI bartender chat messages once that goes live. This is planned, not live yet.
To ask us to delete this data, email hello@liquiddegree.com with the subject “Delete my data”. Include:
- whether you use Android or iOS
- your purchase receipt or order number, if you’ve bought anything, so we can find your records
We’ll confirm when it’s done as soon as we can. We may need to keep some purchase records where the law requires it, for example for tax. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records under their privacy policies. We can’t delete those.
Coming later
When we add accounts and cloud sync (planned, using Google Firebase), this page will explain how to delete your account and the data synced to it.
